[Bottlesmoker @bottlesmoker] is an electronic music duo/group project run by Anggung Suherman (Angkuy (@angkuy)) & Ryan Adzani (Nobie (@nobiembie)). Both are music producers, film score composers, lecturers and sound designers. In its creation, Bottlesmoker focuses on exploring local rhythms and objects around them, such as the rhythms of traditional arts to plants as sound media that are combined in the medium of electronic music. His musical exploration reached tribal music to techno, pacific vibes to psychedelic, even downtempo to ambient.

In this episode of Extended Asia Vol. 2 “Satellite”, Bottlesmoker tries to capture biodata from a plant, then translates it into midi notes that can stimulate a sound source. So that plants can produce tonal units to which Bottlesmoker will respond. Collaboration between plants & Bottlesmoker to create a musical composition that can be used as meditation music. Meditation is an important part of our life as an activity to bring us back to a calm, conscious and peaceful dimension.
