Agam, often known as Magafaka, is a Jakarta-based visual artist who completed his studies at the Jakarta Arts Institute with a focus on fine arts and painting. Some of his works we often encounter, such as paintings, photography, videos, and collages. Most of his works are vulgar and sarcastic, that’s because of the recordings of childhood memories. He grew up in a Red-Light district in Jakarta, full of crime and violence. Now Magafaka is focusing on developing its merchandise business and art studio, Maggis, located in Pasar Santa, South Jakarta.
In this episode on Extended Asia Vol. 3, “Discovery,” They have a work entitled Kental in collaboration with Matski Arbok.
