[Larasati @insan_larasati] is a Rotterdam-based queer and genderfluid DJ and multidisciplinary artist, who mostly play music from the broad and eclectic genre of deconstructed club. Previously they have played for radio’s like Ma3azef Radio and Operator Radio, as well as making mixes for collectives like Club Matryoshka, Circa A.D. and GhettoWitchez. They also have a radio show at Stranded FM called “Neotropicalism” which aims to decolonise and decentralise experimental electronic music by highlighting deconstructed club music by non-western artists and by using the space to uplift POC and queer DJ’s.

For Extended AsiaVol. 2 “Satellite” she/they have made an experimental dj set/sound piece that represents growing up as a queer, genderfluid person inbetween two cultures (Dutch/Indonesian, European/South-East Asian) and the confusing and beautiful chaos that comes with it with visual set form Mary (@marymaggic) displays a personal room scaning through the camera, which is combined with the Mesh-distortion.
