Coming from a background in comics and illustration, Lilu Herlambang (@aportofo) is a visual artist that plays around the medium of photography, tattoo, and visual glitch. She graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology, majoring in Visual Communication Design with her final project being a photography essay titled “cin(ta)ttoo kepadaku” that was exhibited in Galeri Hidayat in Bandung.
As a fan of exploring and getting lost, she has volunteered in a couple of countries in South East Asia. She got into visual jockey and glitch art during her time in Siem Reap, then returning to Indonesia to land her first VJ gig for The Eye of Time in Bandung. From then, it was a long road of self-exploration and playing around a couple gigs of her friends. She often posted clips of visual mixes online on her visual account @a.v.suals
