Turismo Avenue (@_turismoavenue_). He is an artist who is grown from the community of a closely knit group of people around him. John is known not only for his participation in several notable collectives, such as Javabass and Trash Tapes but also for tracks he put on the various labels, such as:, Pepaya Records, @javabasssoundsystem, Rokum Records, Laxity, @darkerthanwax, and @doubledeermusic & Trash Tapes and Batavia Strut. Drowned in boredom, a small accidental work trip to Vancouver would start a chain reaction. The last thing on his mind was ending up in a small warehouse rave where people didn’t a shit about what you wore and just dancing without the fear of embarrassment, but ultimately the dj’s beautiful blend of house, techno, bass, breaks & jungle was the key to starting his tune making journey again.

Exploring rhythms, melodies, and looping emotional conflicts Turismo Avenue floats effortlessly in and out of genres and styles. his productions which John did are as expected, of stellar quality, he moves effortlessly between 90’s broken-beat, squelching house, ambient driven techno, melancholic jungle, and exquisite jazzy melodies. He just released an music album titled “Turismo Avenue” was originally a self titled album, but the name was already there long before it came out. It’s John’s audio & visuals project.
