Chiu, Chih-Hua works a lot on image-art and wandering between reality and virtual. His works were inspired by documentary photography. Chiu’s past works have been based on portraits of cities and individuals, focusing on unfinished matters that are lost, passed away, or no longer present. Through different image forms, these lost memories are recorded and reproduced.

In recent years, he has also collected found footage from all over the world, trying to reorganize and give narratives through these abandoned video clips and also link his history with others.
