Firmansyah Risman a.k.a. Methclass. Born in Bandung, Indonesia. he is a live coder, designer, and music producer. He started as a live coder in 2020 using Orca, then explored something like Pure Data, Max/MSP, Supercollider, processing, and more often using Pure Data and FoxDot from 2020.
On Extended Asia, 2022 – Vol. 3: “Discovery,” Methclass created an A/V work titled Undefined Syntax.
Undefined Syntax is composing the sound using a coding platform (FoxDot), then transmitting via Midiloop to trigger the source sound (Ableton) then controlling the sound using Midihub to mix all the sound and variables.
